Get around There are buses around town, but unless you speak Bulgarian, they can be difficult to figure out. You can buy the tickets in the bus. The most common places to get a taxi are at the train station, at the center, and at Pazarska street (a few blocks north of the main square). Taxis should operate on a zone system: the price is 2.50 лв for one lift to anywhere within town, and 4 лв to/from the ferry terminal. There are many numbers, try: 094606060, 094666666, 094600600. Some taxi companies are Tiko Taxi, Euro Taxi, and OK Taxi. It is generally safe to ride a bike through Vidin, but pay attention to potholes. You should ride a bike on the right side of the streets.
