خُرّم سلطان (به ترکی استانبولی: Hürrem Sultan) (زادهٔ اوایل دههٔ ۱۵۰۰ – درگذشتهٔ ۱۵ آوریل ۱۵۵۸) که در منابع غربی با نام روزا یا روکسِلانا شناخته می‌شود، تنها همسر عقدی سلیمان یکم، دهمین و بزرگ‌ترین سلطان عثمانی و مادر جانشین او سلیم دوم بود. وی به یکی از قدرتمندترین و تأثیرگذارترین زنان در تاریخ امپراتوری عثمانی تبدیل شد که با نفوذ فراوان خود بر سلطان سلیمان و بر هم زدم تمام معیارهای سابق حرم‌سرای عثمانی شناخته می‌شود. خرم سلطان به صورت شخصیتی جنجالی، آغازگر دوره‌ای شد که بعدها به «سلطنت زنان» معروف گشت. خرم سلطان در سرزمین روتنیا که در آن زمان ناحیهٔ شرقی پادشاهی لهستان بود متولد شد. منابع او را از ملیت‌های گوناگون ذکر کرده‌اند؛ ولی بر روس بودن او اتفاق نظر بیشتری وجود دارد. او در جوانی…
