Tarsus
ตาร์ซัส (อังกฤษ: Tarsus ; Hittite: Tarsa; กรีกโบราณ: Ταρσός Tarsós; ; ฮีบรู: תרשיש Ṭarśīś; อาหรับ: طَرَسُوس Ṭarsūs) เป็นเมืองมีชื่อเสียงในประวัติศาสตร์ทางทิศใต้ของประเทศตุรกี อยู่ห่างจากชายฝั่งทะเลเมดิเตอร์เรเนียน 20 กิโลเมตร ประวัติศาสตร์ของเมืองมีมากกว่า 6,000 ปี เป็นจุดสำคัญของผู้ค้าขายและสถานที่สำคัญของหลายอารยธรรม ในจักรวรรดิโรมัน ทาร์ซัสเป็นเมืองหลวงของจังหวัดซิซิเลีย ยังเป็นสถานที่พบกันครั้งแรกของมาร์ก แอนโทนีกับคลีโอพัตรา และเป็นสถานที่เกิดของนักบุญเปาโล
